ABOUT THIS DESIGN:
The hamsa is symbol of protection and good luck that predates Judaism. It resembles an open hand with five fingers. In fact, the number five in Hebrew is hamesh.
This beautiful design also resembles a lotus flower, which puts forth blossoms in murky waters. It is said that a flower that blooms in adversity is the most rare and beautiful of all.
